These rates do not include Medicare Levy of 2%.

For each dependant child or student, the family income thresholds increase by a further $3,597.

 

Low Income Tax Offset (LITO)

Senior Australians & Pensioners Tax Offset (SAPTO) 

The amounts for the 2020/2021 year are as follows:

Single Senior Australians can receive $32,279 whilst each member of a couple can receive $28,974 without paying tax. The threshold is slightly higher for those couples living apart due to illness.
